FARMERS have the chance to view the new Kubota fleet at a series of local roadshows over the next two weeks.

Family-owned H Pigney & Son of Appleby have become a new Kubota dealership and will take the fleet to four local auction marts.

They will be at Kirkby Stephen on Monday; Middleton-in-Teesdale on Tuesday, February 13; Penrith on Wednesday, February 14; and Hawes on Tuesday, February 20.

Founded in 1824, the company is a sixth generation family business providing machinery for the agricultural, horticultural and forestry industries. It already stocks McCormick, Suzuki & Vicon machinery.

It now offers Kubota’s complete range, with aftersales support, which includes the recently launched flagship M7002 tractor, the M5001 and MGX-III tractor ranges.

David Pigney, managing director, said: “Kubota’s product offering and growth in the agricultural market over the past few years is something we have been very impressed with and we’re excited to be working closely with the manufacturer.”

Rob Edwards, Kubota UK’s business development manager for its agriculture division, said: “Working with dealerships that can provide the highest levels of customer service and aftersales support is pivotal to sustaining our position as a first-class machinery provider and we’re looking forward to the start of a long and fruitful working relationship.”
