A HIGH street opticians is celebrating after beating off competition from across the region to be crowned Branch of the Year.
Scrivens Opticians on Thirsk Market Place won the prestigious accolade after coming top of the branches in the North-East to clinch the title at Scrivens’ annual conference and awards ceremony.
The award is recognition for the team’s customer care, general positive attitude and expertise.
Manager Mike Symmonds said: “The award is down to a fantastic team effort and hard work.
“The general feedback we have is that our customer service is second to none which is one of the reasons customers continue to come here.”
Scrivens Opticians chairman Nicholas Georgevic congratulated the team and said that the Thirsk branch was a “worthy winner”.
