A JUNIOR football team can hit the field dressed to impress thanks to a new kit sponsored by Middlesbrough-based hotel Holiday Inn Express.

The hotel invited the under-11s Thirsk Falcons Juniors to their city centre hotel for a pre-match photoshoot to show off the new kit.

The established Falcon’s team, which has been together since they were six-years-old, now proudly displays the Holiday Inn Express company logo on match kit as they continue their season in the Teesside Junior Football league.

Coach Dave Pittam said: “The new match kit looks fantastic, we can’t thank Holiday Inn Express enough for their support of the team, it makes a real difference to the players and instils a real sense of pride.

"The players were excited to visit the hotel before last week’s match and loved ‘helping’ with the staff duties."

Toni Bainbridge sales manager at Holiday Inn Express added “Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough is passionate about supporting local communities and young people.

"It's great to have the opportunity to join forces with Thirsk Falcons Junior Football club and offer this hard working team our support. We’re looking forward to watching their season progress."

Thirsk Falcons Juniors has grown to be the largest amateur sports clubs in the town and is as popular as ever with over 220 boys and girls registered.
