A VILLAGE will be pulling out all the stops for this year’s Christmas fair, which will feature an angel trail, Santa’s grotto and a “gin bus”.
Great Ayton will be holding its festival on the High Green on Saturday, November 25 and its organisers intend to build on the success of last year’s event, which saw more than 1,000 people attend.
The organisers, Great Ayton Business Forum, say this year’s event will feature stalls, children’s activities and rides, food and drink and a gin bus.
There will also be a Santa’s grotto, traditional Morris dancing from Leven Swords, live music entertainment carol and an Angel Trail around Great Ayton.
The festive event will run from 3pm until 6pm on November 25 and will also see the Christmas tree lights switched on and shops opening late.
