CHARITY supporters put on their best dresses and took on the Krypton Factor assault course to raise money for disadvantaged girls.
The challenge was staged on Saturday for International Day of the Girl by the charity, Irise International. More than 30 supporters travelled to the Adrenalin centre near Richmond from across the UK to complete the course, which was used in ITV’s official Krypton Factor.
Wearing dresses over their sports gear, the team made their way through 26 obstacles. They were aiming to raise more than £10,000 in sponsorship to support 2,000 girls in the UK and East Africa. Participant Calum Smith said: “I want my six-month-old daughter to grow up in a world where she can do anything she wants to. I don’t want her to be held back by ideas about what girls should or shouldn’t do.”
