ONE of the UK’s most popular theme parks is holding auditions for ghosts and ghouls to take part in its annual Halloween Scare Fest.

Lightwater Valley Theme Park will be transformed into 'Frightwater' Valley during a four-day event from October 26 until October 29.

Organisers are on the search for ghosts, ghouls, zombies and witches to haunt the park and scare visitors around the maze.

Mark Bainbridge, Lightwater Valley’s manager, said: “We are on the lookout for people who are enthusiastic, outgoing and above all absolutely terrifying.

“In addition to being able to inspire fear in our visitors, candidates will also need to be able to handle being outside at night at the end of October.

“It’s definitely not a role for the faint-hearted and anyone who is afraid of the dark need not apply.”

Any interested actors should email their contact details and state why they think they are the best candidate to paul@lightwatervalley.co.uk by October 1.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8.
