AN Air Force Squadron that excelled in retaining new recruits has received recognition for its work.

The 607 (County of Durham) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force was awarded the Kemp Dirk Trophy which is given annually to the unit which has achieved the best recruiting and retention results during the previous year.
