SHAKESPEARE lovers will be treated to a summer production with a twist in the grounds of a County Durham museum next month.
The Castle Players’ outdoor summer production of one of the playwright’s best-loved comedies, Twelfth Night, will be held in the grounds of The Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, from July 4 to 8, from 7.30pm.
Director Jill Cole has given it a new twist though by turning the land of Illyria into a quirky Victorian steampunk setting.
Tickets cost £1 to £19 and can be bought at the Witham box office, thewitham.org.uk or by calling 01833-631107.
