EXPERTS from one of the region’s leading auction houses will be offering free valuations and advice at an Antiques Roadshow-style event at the Station in Richmond on May 5 from 10am to 3pm.

Hosted by Thomas Watsons of Darlington, it provides an informal opportunity to find out more about a range of contemporary or antique objects, including silver, ceramics, glass, pictures, sculpture or other collectables.

“Many people have things tucked away at home that have been passed down through the family or have been picked up in an antiques shop or sale.

“It’s always fascinating to find out more about them and, of course, discover how much they are worth,” said auctioneer and valuer David Elstob.

No appointments are necessary and the valuations are free with no obligation to sell.
