PURPLE bales with funny faces are to appear in farmer's fields again this year as Carrs Billington Agriculture continues its support of the national WellChild charity for seriously ill children.

Farmers can customise their bales with special emoji packs provided by Carrs Billington who will donate at least £10,000 to the charity this year.

Passers-by can take a picture on their phone, tag the location and post it on social media, including @CarrsBillington and the hashtag #spottedpurple.

Each time they send in a photo of different bales, they will be entered into a draw to win £200 of Carrs Billington vouchers.

Farmers taking part send in photos of their emoji creations to the WellChild and Carrs Billington Facebook pages. The farmer whose display is judged the best will receive two tickets for the star-studded WellChild Awards 2017 in London later this year.

Zeus Packaging Group has given Carrs Billington the exclusive distribution rights of their Purple Silagewrap and Purple Netwrap in the UK.
