A COUNTY Durham castle is gearing up for a classic car and bike show on Father’s Day.
Raby Castle, near Staindrop, in County Durham will fling open its gates for The Raby Castle Vehicle Show on June 18.
The event will have displays of hundreds of classic cars, bikes, trucks, vans, tractors, and is set outside with the chance for families to enjoy a picnic alongside the castle’s famous Deer Park.
The castle’s walled gardens and tearoom will also be available.
Admission is £7 in advance for adults and £2.50 for children, with the event running from 10am to 4pm.
With show admission including entry to the parks, grounds, tea room, gift shop and horse carriage museum, guests can also pay separately for admission to the castle itself from 1pm.
Well-behaved dog are also welcome.
