MORE than 200 past and present members of Reeth Young Farmers enjoyed a Winter Ball with family and friends in Leyburn on Saturday.
The event was held at the Garden Rooms, Tennants, Leyburn, and saw 250 guests enjoy a three-course meal followed by games and dancing.
Club treasurer and ball organiser, Hollie Braithwaite, said a good time was had by all.
“It was brilliant,” she said. “It was really, really good, we were dead chuffed with how successful it was.”
The event was not organised to raise money for a cause, but Miss Braithwaite said that its success has led her to think about maybe organising a charity ball next year.
Reeth Young Farmers traditionally throw events to mark anniversaries but this was the first time the club held a Winter Ball.
