MICHAEL Jackson and Adele tribute acts are among the performers ready to entertain the crowds at Thirsk’s annual Picnic in the Park this summer.
The event, now in its 12th year, will take place in ten acres of parkland at Thirsk Hall on July 8.
Early bird tickets are on sale now until the end of March.
A local band, yet to be confirmed, will kick off the entertainment before tribute acts Michael, The Show and Lareena’s Adele Tribute Show take to the stage.
There will be hot food stands on site with ice creams for sale and a coffee bar, while a Pimms bar will serve refreshing summer drinks.
Gates open on Newsham Road at 5pm and visitors are welcome to take along their own drinks and a picnic.
The concert will end with a spectacular firework finale.
Tickets are available at www.thirskpicnicinthepark.co.uk with a £20 early bird price for adults and a £12 early bird price for youngsters aged 12-to-16-years-old. Under 11s go free.
Organisers Thirsk Action Group will send proceeds to a defibrillator fund for Thirsk.
