A NORTH Yorkshire animal feed company has made two new appointments.
Andrew Harrison and John Wilson have joined family-owned I'Anson Brothers of Masham as a nutritionist and sales manager respectively.
Mr Harrison has just gained a first class honours degree in Agriculture with Animal Science from Harper Adams University and was awarded the British Society of Animal Science Academia Prize, the Worshipful Company of Farmers Prize and the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers Dairy Student of the Year award.
He will formulate rations for customers, visit farms alongside the company’s sales staff and provide technical advice both internally and externally.
Mr Wilson has spent the last 12 years with Novartis Animal Health, where he was agricultural development manager. He will manage I'Anson's sales team, and develop sales nationally through the merchant trade.
Mr Harrison grew up on a dairy and sheep farm in the Forest of Bowland, which he still helps to manage and Mr Wilson continues to run his own farm, which includes a flock of ewes and a herd of pedigree beef Shorthorn cattle.
I'Anson Brothers is one of the UK's most successful specialist suppliers of farm feeds for sheep, dairy and beef cattle as well as micronized ingredients.
