THE legendary Flying Scotsman locomotive will be in action during the coming February half-term holiday.
The National Railway Museum in York is playing host to a fun-fair and many other activities to keep families entertained.
And fans will also get the chance to take in the sights, sounds and smells of steam rides behind the Flying Scotsman.
For the most dedicated of fans, there will also be the opportunity of a “footplate experience” - giving the chance to climb into the driver’s cab and make their own personal journey on the track with the world’s most famous steam engine.
