A STOKESLEY student has been presented with a silver cup to mark his commitment to the town’s Army Cadet Force.
The Arthur Taylor Memorial Trophy, which was donated to the Osmotherley Branch Royal British Legion in 1950 but has been unused for many years, has now been donated to the Stokesley Army Cadet Force.
Cadets gain points for input and commitment in a wide range of military activities to win the prize.
The trophy was won this year by 16-year-old Cadet Colour Sergeant James Lewis who was presented with the cup by Legion Chairman Colonel David Black.
