THORNBORROWCharlie Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Castleberg Hospital, Settle, aged 84, after a long, brave battle. Dearly beloved husband of Elsie, pillar of strength to daughters Lynn and Sandra and son Robert, loving grandfather of Michael, Stephanie and Alexander, proud great-grandfather of Summer, Maxx, Maya, Ellouise, Pheobe, Zoe and Leighton, respected brother of George, Richard and the late Margaret, and a friend and guide to many in Buckden and beyond. Service and interment will take place at Hubberholme Church, on Tuesday, October 25, at 12.00noon. Donations in lieu of flowers to the UCL National Amyloidosis Research Fund at the Royal Free Hospital, London, either at the service or through Howcrofts’ Funeral Services at Duckett Street, Skipton BD23 2EJ.
