TWO Dales law firms have announced plans to merge in order to provide a wider range of services to clients.
Critchley Hall Solicitors, Leyburn, will be merging with David Gall Solicitors of Hawes, from October 1, and will be trading as Hall & Birtles Solicitors.
Alastair Birtles, partner at David Hall Solicitors, said: “We shall continue to operate from our current offices and contact information for us will remain the same except our respective email addresses will change, and these will be provided in due course.
“All solicitors and staff will retain their current roles and the services we have provided in the past will continue to be offered by the combined law firm.
“Both firms are very similar in size and in nature. We believe a larger law firm will allow us to provide a wider array of services and more security for our clients. Both John Hall and Michael Birtles will continue to practice as consultants for the new firm.”
The directors of the new firm will be Alastair Birtles, Stuart Hall and Deborah Parish.
