THE two GP practices in Northallerton are considering merging to enable them to expand and improve services in the future.
The merger of Mayford House Surgery and Mowbray House Surgery would potentially take place in April 2017, however both practices will remain open full time and GP appointments will continue to be provided from both sites.
Two public events have been arranged to discuss possible changes with patients of each practice.
They are open to anyone and will take place on September 3 from 10am to 11.30am at Mayford House Surgery and then on September 7 from 7pm to 8.30pm at Mowbray House Surgery.
Feedback on the proposal can be given in writing to the practice managers or by completing the online form available on the practice websites by October 31.
