MUSICIANS from across the region will descend on Darlington for a three-day music festival in aid of Cancer Research.
The first ever NE Volume Magazine Festival is taking place from July 1 to 3, across several venues in Darlington including The Quays, Yates’, The Forum and The Voodoo Cafe.
It has been organised to celebrate the first anniversary of the North-East based music magazine NE Volume and its editor Lee Allcock said: “The Forum Music Centre is just a short ten minute walk from the Voodoo Café, so I hope that all of the music fans attending the event will be able to see all of the bands they want to without walking miles between the stages.”
The line-up features talent from across the region, such as Newcastle rockers Dalaro and Durham indie pop band, Twister.
Darlington band Apex are set to play the after-party on the Saturday night in Elixir.
Mr Allcock said: “The line-up we’ve managed to put together for the weekend is, in my opinion, incredible and it shows just how great the North-East music scene is right now."
Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £3 plus booking fee, visit: www.seetickets.com/tour/ne-volume-magazine-festival.
