A CHRISTMAS farmhouse breakfast morning has raised funds for an established farming charity.

The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution work to provide support for farmers in financial difficulty and money raised by ticket sales and a raffle was donated to the cause.

RABI’s regional manager, Sally Conner, said: “We’re delighted that Sam Turner and Sons, in association with H & H Land and Property, are holding our first ever Christmas farmhouse breakfast to help us raise funds for our work in the North-East.

“A number of businesses which are all involved in the agricultural sector have made their commitment to the event and I would like to thank everyone, as through their support we can continue to support people within the agricultural industry who need help.”

H & H Land and Property supported the event and surveyor, Tim Sedgewick, said: “There is a natural synergy between H&H Land and Property, our clients and the charity, hence our reason for supporting this event.

“The aim of the morning was to raise as much money as possible for RABI so that they can meet their objectives of supporting farmers and related family.”
