RYAN BOWMAN was on target again as Gateshead displayed their battling qualities to claim a 1-1 draw with Kidderminster Harriers.
Bowman struck seven minutes from time after Gateshead fell behind before the break for the fourth time in their last five outings.
Kidderminster broke the deadlock when Gurjit Singh won possession on the right-hand side and drilled a fierce low drive into the corner of Sam Russell’s net.
Russell made a fine save to prevent Andrew Fox from doubling Harriers’ lead, but Gateshead rallied shortly before the break with Ben Clark and James Curtis both going close from set-pieces.
Bowman shot over the crossbar shortly after the interval, and while Danny Johnson also failed to find the target with a decent chance, the Heed claimed an equaliser in the 83rd minute.
Josh Gillies received possession close the byline, and after he squared the ball into the area, Bowman converted from close range.
Gateshead: Russell, Baxter, Curtis, Clark, Cranston, Chandler, Ramsden (Pattison 63), McLaughlin (Phillips 46), Gillies, Shaw (Johnson 72), Bowman.
