ARTISTS can brush up their skills on a landscape painting workshop in the truest sense.
Moor House Upper Teesdale National Nature Reserve, County Durham, will host a one day course about landscape painting in watercolours on Sunday, June 28.
Artist Keith Palmer, who is also a nature reserve volunteer, will lead the ‘With Love from Teesdale’ session from 10am to 4.30pm.
Participants will meet him in the car park at Bowlees, Newbiggin, for a 15 minute walk on good paths, crossing Wynch Bridge and passing hay meadows to reach Wynch Bridge End cottage.
The historic cottage, which is used as an educational hub, was renovated as part of Strathmore Estates Stewardship Scheme.
Arrangements can be made to drive participants to the site if they are unable to walk the route.
Hot drinks will be provided but participants need to take lunch and wear sturdy flat footwear and outdoor clothing.
They can take their own art materials but organisers can provide them.
Cost £6 per person.
Booking essential on 01833 622374.
