NEIGHBOURS tipped off police about a cannabis farm worth £150,000 growing at a house in a suburban Stockton street.
Cleveland Police officers found 16 large plants being prepared and grown with an estimated street value of £150,000 at a property in Lyttleton Drive, Hartburn yesterday (Tuesday).
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: “This is an excellent example of members of the public remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activity to police.”
Anyone with information about drugs activity is asked to call the non emergency 101 number or the Community Drugs Enforcement Team on the confidential 0800-0929702 line.
