POSSIBLE sightings of missing teenager Daniel McArthur have been reported in Scotland.
It is thought the 19-year-old from Middlesbrough was seen yesterday (Tuesday, June 2) at 11.30am on the A7 near Gretna and another at noon on the A7 two miles north of Longtown.
Cleveland Police said his whereabouts had not been known since Monday lunchtime and it was unusual for him to not return home.
He is described as a white male, around 6 ft 6” tall and of slim build. He has collar length hair and brown eyes and was wearing a grey Superdry top, blue Superdry jeans a light green waterproof jacket and brown walking boots.
Mr McArthur is thought to have camping or survival equipment on him and people are asked to contact police if they have perhaps seen him or evidence of him having pitched up for the night.
To report a recent sighting or to give information call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101.
