TWO women were hurt in separate road collisions in Darlington this morning.
The incidents happened in quick succession, the first on Skerne Park at about 10.30am and the second in Northgate.
A Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) helicopter landed on Skerne Park but was not needed to transport anyone to hospital.
In the second collision a white Ford van collided with a silver Fiat Punto.
One of the occupants of the Punto was taken to hospital.
The busy Northgate was closed to traffic while emergency services dealt with the incident.
GNAAS medics were taken by police from the Skerne Park incident to the Northgate crash.
