HARROGATE’S John Parry delivered a scintillating final round to power his way in to the money at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
Parry turned on the style to hit a six-under 66 to finish tied fifth and just three shots shy of leading pair George Coetzee and Dane Thorbjorn Olesen, who lost out to the South African in the play-off.
Parry carded a steady 71 on Saturday but then finished brilliantly with a flawless last 18 holes which got going with an eagle at the seventh before birdies at ten, 15 and 18.
The strong placing is another sign of strong progress from Parry, who has had a strong year so far and this latest result propels him towards the top 60 in the Race to Dubai.
