TWO people trapped in their car after a two vehicle smash outside James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough had to be freed by firefighters this afternoon.
The collision happened at 1.53pm on Marton Road, outside the hospital's bridge entrance.
Two crews from Coulby Newham and Marine fire stations attended and freed two people trapped in one of the cars. They were taken to hospital by ambulance. A third person was also injured in the incident.
