A CAR careered into safety railings at a busy Darlington junction.
It happened at about 3.45pm today (Friday, April 17) when a woman driving a black Volkswagen Golf crashed into railings at the junction of Greenbank Road and Woodland Road near Darlington town centre.
An ambulance was called but the woman was uninjured.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident and police are interviewing the woman to establish what happened.
