Fatal crash victims named by police
THE names of two people who died in a two car collision in the North-East have been released by police.
Charles Henry Chester, 86, from the Bedlington area, was driving a Nissan Micra and Katherine Scott, 93, from Morpeth area, was driving a Vauxhall Astra.
They collided near to Hartford Bridge in Northumberland on April 8.
The passenger from the Astra remains in hospital with injuries.
Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Enquiries are ongoing into the collision and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 399 08/04/15.
