The Under-8 Colts met Saxon Juniors from Hartlepool and took an early lead through Toby Mitford when he managed to put the ball through the goalkeeper’s legs.

Saxon pressed for an equaliser, but were denied by some excellent goalkeeping from Lucas Sidebottom. Saxon finally managed to squeeze the ball home towards the end of the half making it 1-1 at the interval.
