CHEQUE PRESENTATION: Winn Ward, Jane Auld and Lewis Stockill
THE children’s ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital has been boosted by a £220 donation from the Heartbeat Group.
The group, supported by The Friends of Darlington Memorial Hospital, organise weekly rehabilitation classes under the guidance of qualified physiotherapists for patients recovering from Cardiac Surgery and other medical conditions.
Each year the group members hold a collection which is donated to the children’s ward in the Hospital.
This year £220 was raised and group organisers Winn Ward and Lewis Stockill presented a cheque to Ward Manager Sister Jane Auld.
