Five live guitar bands will be playing in Thirsk Town Hall on Saturday, March 28, to raise money for Oxfam.
The event will be a fantastic one off opportunity to see a range of northern rock and pop bands in one venue. Some tickets are still available from Oxfam shops in Thirsk and Northallerton and from Ruby Arts tattoo studio in Thirsk. Drinks will be available from the venue on the night.
This event will be a great start to the festival season, showcasing talent from 5 signed and unsigned bands. Proceeds from every £10 ticket will directly fund lifesaving mosquito nets, preventing fatalities caused by malaria.
Currently a government charity initiative is promising to double every pound we raise for mosquito nets - doubling the number of people whose lives can be protected. Save a life and have a brilliant night out!
If you would like to know more then details are available on the Thirsk Oxfam Twitter and Facebook pages or by calling the shop on 01845 524081 and asking for Claire Fairweather the shop manager.
