A DRIVER who was trapped in his wagon after it overturned near Bowes, in Teesdale, this afternoon, has escaped uninjured.
A fire brigade crew from Barnard Castle released the man at about 1pm today (Tuesday, March 3) after the articulated tipper lorry overturned onto its side at Hulands Quarry.
Police officers also attended but a spokeswoman said there would be no further police involvement.
