JOHN CARVER has named an unchanged Newcastle United team as he looks to make it two wins in a row as Stoke head for Tyneside.
Carver, who won his first game 3-0 at Hull after being told he has the Magpies job until the end of the season, has resisted the temptation to throw Senegal striker Papiss Cisse in from the start.
Stoke make two changes to the side which brushed aside QPR. Marc Muniesa and Mame Biram Diouf come in as replacements for Ryan Shawcross and Marko Arnautovic.
NEWCASTLE (4-2-3-1): Krul; Janmaat, Coloccini, Williamson, Haïdara; Anita, Colback; Cabella, Sissoko, Ameobi; Perez. Subs: Cisse, Gouffran, Obertan, Riviere, Abeid, Dummett, Woodman (gk).
STOKE CITY (4-3-3); Begovic; Bardsley, Muniesa, Wollscheid, Wilson; Whelan, Nzonzi, Ireland; Walters, Moses, Diouf. Subs: Palacios,, Adam, Cameron, Sidwell, Butland (gk), Crouch, Wilkinson.
