THE cast of a successful West End show are gearing up for a night of suspense at a North-East theatre.
Following a nine year run in the West End, The Business of Murder is coming to Darlington Civic Theatre from Tuesday, February 10 to Saturday, February 14.
The murder mystery is written by Richard Harris, who is the mastermind behind detective thrillers A Touch of Frost, The Avengers, The Sweeney and The Last Detective, and features Robert Gwilym, best known as Dr Max Gallagher on Casualty.
He will also be joined by former Emmerdale actor, Paul Opacic, and Shameless star, Joanna Higson.
The play follows Dee, a television playwright, as she accepts an invitation by a man named Stone to his flat to discuss a screenplay. But when she finds the man she is having an affair with also at the flat, Dee realises that not everything is as it seems.
