COCKFIELD top division one on goal difference following a 5-0 defeat of Shildon FC Supporters. Tony Callaghan bagged a hat trick with Paul Dawes and Stephen Hartley also on target.

Bishop Bay Horse gained their first win in beating St Johns Chapel 2-0 away. Luke McGill broke the deadlock after 80 minutes and Andrew Foster wrapped it up a minute from time.

Marc Costello (2), Joe Richardson and John Savage earned unbeaten second division leaders Middlestone Moor a 4-2 win at Bishop Sports Bar. Lewis Dunn and Richard Graham responded.

Alex Cantwell scored four for Tudhoe United who remain second after defeating Coundon Three Tuns 8-2. Other Tudhoe scorers were Richard Oliver (2), Daniel Hatton and Anthony Philipson. Mark Connell and Luke Bannister replied for the Tuns.

Spennymoor Salvin Arms consolidated third place in beating Elm Road WMC 3-1. Gavin Brown, Aaron Jackson and Reece Ellis scored for Salvins with Kris Coley pulling one back.

The two bottom sides both won. Barnard Castle beat Kirk Merrington Half Moon 3-2 while Spennymoor Voltigeur defeated Toft Hill Three Tuns 3-0 through Matthew Deas, Callum Savage and Liam McGill.

Newton Aycliffe Sports Club lead division three on goal difference following an excellent 5-2 victory over DSRM. Connor Hughes (3), Paul Cook and Chris Jones scored for Sports Club with DSRM replies courtesy of Michael Barnett and Matthew Davidson.

Willington Queens Head conceded sole leadership in losing 4-2 at Shildon Crossings. Wayne Whitfield (2), Daniel Duncan and Paul Richardson netted for Crossings with Aaron Bloomfield and Paul Rowton on target for Queens.

Willington Cottles move up to third after a 5-1 win at Bishop Station. Cottles scorers were Andrew Shields (3), Alex Simpson and Neil Buddin with Todd Nicholson picking up the Station consolation.

Ollie Gell notched a hat trick for Aycliffe Huntsman who beat Cockton Hill WMC 6-3. Other Huntsman goals came from Jamie Herd, Anthony Harrison and Andrew Richardson. Martin Hutchinson scored all three for Cockton Hill.

Keeper Dean White starred for Witton Victoria in a 4-4 draw with Gainford Cross Keys. Mark Lee, Kyle Prest, Robert Clarey and an own goal comprised the Vic quartet with Robert Vayro (2), Harry Fenwick and Thomas Reed scoring for Gainford.

Adam Nicholls, Dean Hansom, Dean Thexton and a Ben Trotter brace earned holders Witton Park Rose and Crown a 5-0 win at Coundon Miners Arms in a Heart Foundation cup second round tie.
