THREE young apprentices are building their future at the head office a leading independent timber importers, merchants and manufacturers.
Nick Kershaw, managing director of North Yorkshire Timber, in Northallerton, said his company looks for employees with enthusiasm and energy who want to be part of a growing business.
Frankie Pepper,17, who studied at Northallerton College has joined as an apprentice accounts assistant and Will Maw, 18, from Thirsk School is a marketing apprentice. They both joined the company straight from school.
Josh Duncan,18, who studied at Richmond School, joined when he was 16 and having recently completed his apprenticeship is now working in sales.
Mr Kershaw added: “Josh, Will and Frankie all have real parts to play in the development of the business. We take on apprentices for all our departments across the region and are currently recruiting three more for our sales centres. “
