TWO schools in Darlington will be closed to pupils today due to power cuts caused by the strong winds over the weekend.
High Coniscliffe Primary School has no power after a falling tree brought down power cables near the school, while Rise Carr College suffered a power cut which has caused the heating system to break down.
Both schools are expected to be open as usual tomorrow (Tuesday).
