EX-Sunderland Ladies midfielder Jordan Nobbs has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal.
The England international, daughter of Hartlepool United legend Keith Nobbs, joined the Gunners from the Lady Black Cats in 2010 and has since scored 20 goals in 46 league outings for the Gunners.
Nobbs was part of the England squad that created history in the first ever women's international played at Wembley Stadium in November.
Meanwhile, Durham Women have announced a series of pre-season fixtures as they prepare for their second season in the FA Women’s Super League 2.
The Wildcats finished 6th in an encouraging first season of competitive action and have already begun training ahead of the new season, which starts in March.
They will travel to Everton, relegated into WSL2 at the end of last season, on Sunday, January 25 before a home game against Hutchinson Vale on February 8.
WSL 1 outfit Notts County will visit the North-East on February 15, while Scottish duo Aberdeen and Glasgow Rangers will travel south on February 22 and March 1.
Durham will round off their warm-up games at home to neighbours and newly-promoted WSL 1 side Sunderland on March 15.
