GOODBYE: Hatem Ben Arfa's contract at Newcastle United has been terminated with immediate effect by mutual consent
NEWCASTLE United have confirmed Haten Ben Arfa’s contract at the club has been terminated by mutual consent.
Ben Arfa, who is set to join French side Nice, spent four-and-a-half years on Tyneside, scoring 13 goals in 76 appearances for the Magpies.
The Frenchman joined Hull City on loan in the summer after being ostracised from the first team affairs at Newcastle, but Tigers boss Steve Bruce ended the deal after he failed to impress at the KC Stadium.
