A MAN has been arrested in connection to an attempted robbery in which a homeowner was threatened with violence.
Two men forced their way into a property in Meadow Road in Trimdon Village just after 7.30pm on Monday, October 13.
The men demanded money and threatened the resident with violence, before fleeing the scene when the victim shouted for help.
On Wednesday, October 22, a man in his 20s from the Trimdon area was arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Two other suspects still need to be identified and anyone with information is asked to contact the Durham Police serious crime team on 101, quoting incident number DHM-12102014-0432.
