A HOUSEHOLDER was attacked and knocked unconscious following an attempted burglary at his home.
Police are appealing for information after intruders got inside his house in Hertford Road, Stockton, but then left following an apparent burglary attempt last night (Thursday, October 16).
However, at around midnight, a number of suspects went to the same house and assaulted the 22-year-old occupant.
The man was knocked unconscious and taken to James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, with head injuries. He remains in a stable condition.
