ALAN PARDEW has named the same Newcastle United for the second Premier League game in a row.

Despite fears that Mike Williamson would miss out through illness, the defender has been deemed fit enough to keep his place at the heart of the defence alongside Fabricio Coloccini.

It also means that French striker Emmanuel Riviere is included as the lone striker after scoring two in the midweek win at Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup last Tuesday.

Stoke, who are without a home win or a goal at the Britannia Stadium this season, include Irish midfielder Stephen Ireland on the bench. The former Aston Villa man spent an unsuccessful loan at St James’ Park a couple of years ago.
