AN Arnold Schwarzenegger waxwork exhibit on the other side of the world will feature a Harley Davidson bought from a Darlington-based company.

Stephen Billau and Sons, which has a showroom in Chesnut Street, Darlington, and have been trading for over 30 years, sold the Harley Davidson Fat Boy to Madame Tussauds in Singapore.

The bike, which is costing around £8,500 will be decommissioned, boxed up and shipped over to Singapore in the next few days.

Andrew Billau said that a sale abroad wasn’t unusual for the company.

He said: “We sell bikes abroad quite regularly because we do have some unique bikes. We’ve sold to places such as Ireland, Croatia and Portugal before."

Mr Billau did say though that selling to a museum was a first.

The bike will be displayed in an Arnold Schwarzenegger exhibit to in an effort replicate the bike the actor rode in the film Terminator 2.

The museum opens in doors on October 25.

And the Buyer will have to pay a very high Import Duty to bring it into Singapore which is probably why he bought it quite cheaply.

Matt, Andy, allow me to help you out..

There is no indication in this story that Arnold Schwarzenegger is the person buying this bike.

It even tells you in the story who indeed is purchasing said bike, so the buyer didn't say those any of those phrases.

You been foolish and tried to be funny but now look, you've got egg on your face.

I think you should learn by this mistake and maybe use that pent up sexual energy and go out and meet a women instead of sitting at your keyboards making ridiculous comments.

Glad to be of help.

bumblesquat what on earth are you going on about?

Matt and Andy both made light hearted quotes made by Arnie in the Terminator movies, which as a big Terminator fan made me laugh. Which is what I guess was Matt and Andy's intention. And I am pretty sure they both know it probably wasn't Arnie who phoned up.

I would suggest you lighten up and take your own advice.
