DARLINGTON shoppers can enjoy big bargains – thanks to a little book of offers.

Business improvement company Distinct Darlington has teamed up with retailers and businesses across the town centre to compile a booklet packed with special deals and discounts.

The book, which is free and runs every quarter, contains 28 vouchers to be used against services and purchases from both independent stores and high street giants such as Burger King, Laura Ashley and New Look.

Among the deals are three items for two at Johnsons the cleaners, discounts at hair and beauty salons in the town and two lunchtime meals for £10 at Salvo’s, Duke Street.

The Fitness Centre, in Bondgate, is offering a free, seven-day gym pass while shoppers at The Perfume Shop can pick up a free gift when they spend more than £35 or enjoy a free, studio photo shoot and print, worth £50, from the Camera A Studio on Skinnergate.

“There are so many diverse offers in this edition: there really is something that will appeal to everyone,” said Alex Hirst, manager of Distinct Darlington, which was formed to promote businesses through a variety of projects and encourage a clean, safe and welcoming town centre.

“Asquiths, on Post House Wynd, is offering 25 per cent off all insurance valuations, for example and a wide variety of businesses and restaurants are also taking part with exclusive offers.”

The Little Book Offers is available from the Box Office in Darlington’s Cornmill Centre and Dolphin Centre reception, or can be downloaded from distinctdarlington.co.uk/downloads/

All vouchers must be redeemed by the end of September.
