A MAN has appeared in court following separate police investigations into a series of public sex acts.
North Yorkshire officers appealed for public help after a flasher struck in Bedale and Catterick in June.
A similar exposure was reported in Darlington the following month - followed by two further incidents.
Yesterday, Keith Whitworth, 37, from Burneston, near Bedale, appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court.
He faces three charges of exposure and two of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
It is said he performed a sex act in Whitby Way, Darlington, in July, and in the town's Minors Crescent this month.
Mr Whitworth, of St Lamberts Place, Burneston, was remanded in custody until an appearance at Teesside Crown Court.
