FIREFIGHTERS have rescued three youngsters from a funfair ride in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the three, aged about ten, 14 and 17, were stranded about 15 feet above the ground this afternoon when the ride at a fair in Sandside, Scarborough is believed to have broken down.
"Firefighters used nine metre ladders and manpower to rescue the three, who were uninjured in the ordeal," said a spokesman.
