A TEENAGE girl is recovering after suffering a serious sex attack outside a North Yorkshire nightclub.
The 18-year-old is being supported by specially-trained officers following the assault outside Club Amadeus on Elder Road in Northallerton.
The incident happened sometime between midnight and 2.30am on Sunday, August 10, and police are now appealing for information.
They believe there are a number of people who were in and around the club at the time who may have information that can help with their enquiries.
In particular, a number of people who assisted the woman in the nightclub’s foyer following the incident are urged to come forward.
Police would also like to speak to anyone who saw a young woman in distress outside the club in the early hours of Sunday morning to get in touch.
Two men, both aged 20, have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody for questioning.
