A RED Cross shop volunteer in Richmond has been recognised for her hard work and dedication.
Dinah Selkirk has been working in the Red Cross Shop in Rosemary Lane, Richmond, for the past five years and was presented with her five years' service award by Chairman of Richmondshire District Council, Russell Lord
“She is the mainstay in the shop,” said Cllr Lord.
He added: “Dinah’s commitment and consistent support is an inspiration to the shop’s staff and volunteers. She is conscientious, energetic and has a contagious positive attitude that contributes to the shop’s general friendly atmosphere.”
The shop is always on the lookout for more volunteers and also offers training for those who are trying to get back into work.
